From Mom; change of Kaetterhenry date
Hello, everyone!
Mrs. K. needed to change the date of our dinner to Tuesday night, Dec. 23. They are still coming here and she is still bringing potatoes. I know it will be harder with all the work things, but since they are coming here, maybe people can sort of come in and out depending on the work schedule.
Big Messiah practices tomorrow night after church and Thursday afternoon before the program on Thursday night and again on Friday. Those of you missing all the fun can pray for the ones making the fun! Looking forward to seeing everyone soon...also keep praying for Nathan and his recovery from the worst case of strep throat the doctor had every seen. I told him, he just seems to fall apart in December: last year his back, this year his throat.
Lots of snow between last night and today...hopefully it won't stay until April, like last year.
Love to all,
Mom

Update for mom's Christmas list and Kaetterhenry meal information
I was stymied for awhile about how to get onto the blog to post, and had several false tries, but with perseverence (and RuthAnn's clues way back in one of the first posts), I actually got as far as typing in a posting box!
A couple of additional ideas:
I would really like new lamp shades (three: two for the table lamps that are in the living room right now and one for the floor lamp standing around doing nothing in my bedroom). The Wal-mart ones are about 13/15/18? dollars each.
The supply of Christmas books looks a little skimpy. Perhaps some news Christmas picture books would be nice. Barnes & Noble had a whole table full of different books when Philip, Bethany, and I were in there.
The tree looks great!
Mrs. Kaetterhenry called about the annual Christmas meal between the two families. It is set for Monday night (22nd) and will be at our house (they are bringing the food here. I thought Matthew and Nathan might be here by then, and perhaps we can work around the Joshua/Naomi lesson schedule and the Joanna/Bethany work schedules to at least have everyone be in the house sometime while they are here!

From Joanna
How about Green Bay? Huh? I was pleased. (I'm generally pleased when anyone beats Indy)
The Patriots are probably going to get killed by the Broncos tomorrow night, but we'll be cheering for Cassel anyway.
This is going to be a crazy week for all of us at home. As I'm sure you all remember, this is 40th anniversary, which is also Fall festival. So, you can all think about us on Tuesday night when we're enjoying our tech rehearsal. I know that you all miss those so much.
If you guys think about it, if you could pray for one of my co-workers it would be an encouragement. Her name is Vicky, she's 21, and is trying to get out of a mentally, physically and emotionally abusive relationship. I've invited her to church several times, and she's said that she is interested in coming. However, she knows that our church doesn't believe in lesbian/gay relationships which she is currently in, and she's worried that that would affect how she is treated at Calvary. Pray that: she gets out of the relationship, her parents let her come back home, she would come to church, when she does come to church that she would be treated well.
Also, Bethany is set to take her ACT on Saturday morning, so pray that she wouldn't be to tired from the concerts the nights before, and that her mind will be focused.
I miss and love you all. Have a great week, and let us know what's going on with you
And in the spirit of Fine Arts:
Way to look interested Philip.

Hello World
So apparently the blogging thing is new to some of you :)
Well, I'm signed in - oh, btw, one of the benefits of having your own gmail instead of using the familial gmail is the fact that you can then tell who is posting to the blog. So if you decide to use the family address please take a little extra time and tell us who's writing so that we can remember which voice to use when reading said post. anyway, peace and love

Out Wonderful Mother
Mom's book is finally out. (If you have read the other posts you will realize that by now.) The book looks pretty nice. Mom put in over 2000 hours of researching, writing, organizing, editing, and anything else that needed to be done for the book. I know of no other person who would have done as thorough and complete of a job. When her favorite parts of the books got cut, she took it with a wonderful spirit and amazing grace. I want to tell the whole world that my Mom wrote a book. I can not get over the fact that Mom actually has a published book. Because of all her work on the book, she is now on the archives committee. As of 8:30 p.m. Friday night, she has been up 38 and 1/2 hours . She pulled an all nighter last night organizing things for the archives committee. The weird thing is that she is not that tired. I am so incredibly proud of you Mom. I love you.

Mom's Post
Hi!
This is mom, and Joanna just showed me what to do. I don't think we know for sure if our blog is closed, or if we have to wait for all of the authors to sign in.
As far as news: the book is in and looks very nice...I think better than Naomi or I were thinking it would look for awhile. It doesn't have a lot of big grab you pictures, because such lovely art shots weren't too available, but it does have lots of things to look at.

From Joanna
Trying my posting abilities. So far, it says that I haven't registered. This is bothering me greatly.
I have no present ideas yet. Except, for maybe the Patriots to start winning games - or to get a new quarterback, new offensive line, new defensive line, and new special teams. Besides that, I have nothing.
I miss and love all of you, and am excited about seeing you soon.
Joanna
P.S. Now I want to see a Mom post. Please.

Although I sent all your email accounts invitations to join the blog, I think I might not work out conveniently. If you don't have a gmail account then you cannot be an author on this blog. If, however, everyone just registers with the blog gmail account (ledgerline10@gmail.com), then we don't have to worry about all the different authors.
